Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Arctyk Vision collects information needed to provide local search optimization, reporting, billing, and support:

• Business and contact information: business name, owner/admin email, address or service-area location, primary keyword, dashboard slug, support notes you provide, and related onboarding status.
• Google Business Profile data: when you authorize access through Google OAuth, we access account/location identifiers, location name/address, posts, Q&A, reviews, and related metadata needed to manage the selected Google Business Profile. We do not collect or store your Google password.
• Scan and ranking data: proximity grid scan inputs, GPS grid points, rankings, competitor names, raw provider responses, analysis results, generated content drafts, pending approval status, and activity-feed events.
• Authentication and security data: session cookies, magic-link events, IP address, request metadata, audit log events, and rate-limit signals.
• Billing data: Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, subscription status, plan, and payment event metadata. Stripe processes payment card details; Arctyk Vision does not store full credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• Conduct proximity grid scans and competitor analysis
• Generate optimized content for your Google Business Profile
• Provide your read-only dashboard and activity feed
• Process billing and subscription management
• Send service-related notifications (scan completions, content ready for review)
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, audit account activity, and troubleshoot errors

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or unrelated model training.

3. Cookies and Sessions

We use an HTTP-only secure session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. Blocking cookies may prevent dashboard login or account actions from working.

4. Google API Data Use

Arctyk Vision's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request Google Business Profile permissions only to provide the features you authorize, such as listing/selecting a location, staging posts or Q&A, and managing approved Google Business Profile updates.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Google APIs — for Google Business Profile management (with your explicit consent)
• DataForSEO — for search ranking data
• Mapbox — for maps and address/geocoding features
• Resend — for transactional emails
• LLM providers — for analysis and draft content generation. Ranking, competitor, and business context may be sent to configured AI providers to produce analysis and drafts.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We share only the information needed for the service function.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and service records while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, legal, tax, security, backup, and dispute-resolution purposes.

• Audit log archives are retained for the configured retention period, currently 90 days unless changed by the operator.
• Database backups are retained for the configured backup period, currently 14 days unless changed by the operator.
• After termination, service data is generally retained for 30 days before deletion unless a longer period is required for legal, security, backup, tax, or dispute reasons.

7. Data Security

We use HTTPS, role-based access controls, audit logging, backup/restore procedures, and encryption for sensitive Google OAuth refresh tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to collect only what we need, keep it safe, and dispose of it when no longer needed.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information by emailing hello@arctykvision.tech. We will process deletion requests within 30 days unless we need to retain limited information for legal, billing, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.

If privacy laws in your location provide additional rights, you may contact us to exercise them. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

9. Children's Privacy

Arctyk Vision is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, notifying customers by email or in-app notice.
